Two of Sony’s newest cameras, the Sony RX0 and Sony RX10 IV, launch in the Philippines this November.

Sony RX0: a powerful shooter

The RX0 comes with high-quality photo, video, multiple-angle, 1000 fps super-slow motion, and multi-camera set-up capabilities.

Through its Anti-Distortion Shutter or up to 1/32000 second at 16fps, the RX0 captures high-resolution, minimal-distortion photos. It features a 1.0-type stacked 15.3 MP Exmor RS CMOS image sensor, BIONZ X processor, and a wide-angle ZEISS Tessar T* 24mm F4 fixed lens.

Capturing the extreme

For extreme shooting conditions, the RX0 also features waterproofing for up to 10 meters, and shock-proofing for a height of up to 2 meters. In addition, the new RX0 is crush-proof, and can withstand 200kgf / 2000N.

Sony RX10 IV: built for the professional

Sony’s latest Cyber-shot RX10 flagship, the RX10 IV, touts the latest 1.0-type 20.1 MP Exmor RS CMOS stacked image sensor with DRAM chip. In addition, it also comes with BIONZ X™ image processor and front-end LSI.

For speed in both photography and videography, the RX10 IV combines lightning fast AF and 24 fps and continuous shooting with versatile 24-600mm F2.4-F4 Zoom Lens.  Its Fast Hybrid AF system with AF Speed of 0.03 seconds ensure quick, blur-free shots.

Through the looking glass

With a maximum aperture of F2.4-F4.0, a super ED (extra-low dispersion) glass element and ED aspherical lenses, chromatic aberration becomes less pronounced. In addition, the RX10 IV’s built-in Optical SteadyShot image stabilization, photos come out clearer and less blurred.

Integrated connectivity

The Sony RX10 IV features the FA-WRC1M, Sony’s wireless radio commander, to trigger up to 15 RX0’s. In addition, the PlayMemories™ mobile app enables wireless connection of up to five RX0 models. Finally, the Sony intends to implement multi-camera shooting, into the RX10 soon. This allows for the connection of three more RX0 units and a camera control box.

Pricing and Availability

Get the RX0 and a free 32GB micro SD card for Php 39,999.  Meanwhile, the new Sony Cyber-shot RX10 IV comes with a free 64Gb micro SD card and launches on November 18 for Php 99,999.
