Sony’s own holds up to a whole new generation of gaming experiences.

Truly an exciting time for gamers worldwide, Sony is set to launch two PlayStation 5 consoles starting November 12, first in seven key markets—the U.S., Japan, Canada, Mexico, Australia, New Zealand, and South Korea—while its global roll-out will start on November 19 that will be available throughout Europe, Middle East, South America, Asia, and South Africa.

The disc-based console will retail for $499.99 (P24,233) while the Digital Edition will sell for $399.99 (P19,386), with the latter substantially thinner compared to the former since it doesn’t have an optical drive. The consoles also feature a white-and-black design that matches the controller included in the box and can be placed either vertically or horizontally.

Under the hood, both models use the same custom processor with integrated CPU and GPU, 4K graphics, and high-speed SSD for lightning-fast loading. Sony also included a number of accessories to go along with the new PS5 models including a DualSense charging station, HD camera, Pulse 3D wireless headset, and media remote.

Sony PS5’s price and availability in the PH are still subject to regulations; so it’s best to keep checking this page for more updates or visit playstation.com/en-ph/.
