Sony’s Xperia XZ and XZs will soon receive their respective official updates from Sony to Android 8.0 Oreo, allowing them to compete in the modern market.
With this update, the XZ and XZs gain Oreo features like app shortcut and notification dots. Not only that, but it will also receive smart text selection, the Autofill API, and a picture-in-picture mode Plus, Sony will include Xperia Actions and Reminders. Basically, Xperia Actions act as suggested settings for your phone, based on how you use it. Meanwhile, Reminders stand as useful prompts for unfinished tasks and activities. Lastly, the update also implements the November 2017 security patch on both phones.
