Starmobile is aiming to enhance its aftersales services with the launch of two new apps in select Android smartphone units.
The company unveiled the new services Star Phone by One Smart Network and its own E-Warranty app. “We are launching these apps to make customer service more convenient for our users,” said Ardie Balderrama, Sales and Marketing Head of Starmobile.
He added that these will deliver efficient personal aftersales service online, offline and in stores.
With the Star Phone app, users would only need to dial *7827 (*STAR) and the they can access a menu of Starmobile services. For the E-Warranty app, this allows users to register their smartphone’s warranty online for faster support in Starmobile service centers.
Starmobile also said it would use the E-Warranty system to register all units to avoid fraud and double registration.
Currently, the apps are available in selected UP- and PLAY-series smartphone. Consumers may expect to see these in all future Starmobile Android products.
Starmobile devices can also be purchase in more than 900 sari-sari stores nationwide.
Its products, such as UNO feature phones and the entry-level PLAY and UP series android smartphones, are made avaiable in Mr. D in Atimonan, Quezon, Double Barrel in Sta. Cruz ,Laguna, Abay Sari-Sari Store in Naga City, Bicol and in several other outlets in Quezon City such as Hi ACE Sari Sari Store San Bartolome, Novaliches and CJ Loading Station Pingkian Sauyo, Novaliches.
