One of the biggest technology trade show in the world, CES, is back to bring once again an all-new, but the same head-spinning display of gadgets and innovations.
Here are the top technologies to expect at CES 2019:
A lot of intelligent devices, meaning AI-powered, will take the spotlight in CES 2019. From automotives to televisions to simple home appliances, many innovations at the trade show will come touting some for of artificial intelligence, machine learning, or deep learning. In addition, a lot of accessories and tech gear will sport Alexa or Google Assistant support in their functions.
We’ve already got a taste of 5G in 2018. In 2019, wireless carriers and handset manufacturers will take advantage of CES to boats their adoption and innovation of this ultra-fast cell network technology.
8K is the way
Are you on enjoying the 4K trend? Well, don’t hold on to that tight because 8K is here to send you into another, more head-spinning ride. Expect TV manufacturers to show their 8K displays. With a resolution of 7,680 by 4,320, these screens are really sights for sore eyes (and incredibly expensive, too).
All-screen & flexible screens
Notches are so last year. At CES 2019, techies will see a bevy of smartphone products that either all-screen displays (no notches at all, just pinholes for cameras). Prototypes of flexible, foldable displays–in mobile devices and TVs–will also make appearances.
While car makers still don’t view CES as their main stage to launch new models, but the annual tech show is still set to see new auto tech announcements in 2019. Improved autonomous driving car concepts lead this category, as well as other transportation gear that provides mobility sans cars.
These are just some of the technologies you can expect from CES 2019. We’ll be bringing you more updates and new launched from the annual tech event.
