Vivo earlier announced its third iteration of the APEX concept smartphone, APEX 2020.
The Vivo APEX 2020 has a curved display similar to the NEX 3 but this time its 6.45 inch display bends at an angle up to 120deg on both sides. Supplementing the 120-deg FullView Edgeless Display, and helping achieve a Super Unibody Design is a 16MP in-display, “invisible” front camera which features a 4-in-1 super-pixel photosensitive chip.
Its back camera on the other hand comes with a Continuous Optical Zoom that can achieve -7.5x continuous optical zoom with real-time focus for seamless video shooting. The rear camera moreover features a micro gimbal-like configuration for a better image stabilization. Vivo claims that the APEX 2020’s gimbal features offer 200% extended stabilization compared to traditional OIS systems.
As for the internals, the Vivo APEX 2020 is powered by a Snapdragon 865 5G chipset with up to 12GB of RAM. The Vivo concept smartphone also packs 60W Wireless Super FlashCharge that can recharge 2000mAh smartphones in just 20mins.
